Good app

When reading codes, it is flawless. It reads codes in less than a second, and immediately sends you to the site. The only flaw is that the interface is a bit outdated.

Not Impressed

I have yet to scan a code and have this app find any information on the internet. I even scanned the box my iPhone came in... nothing. I tried contacting support but they do not respond.

Best. Hands down!

There are several decent readers out there but none matches the consistency and accuracy of I-nigma. This should be your default reader.

Quick and easy

Best qr reader hands down. Scanner is very quick to respond. Im tickled

Pain in the butt

Scans fine but the process of setting up your personal info is severely broken. End up with multiple ids and logins. Spent over an hour trying to change the picture that came with the QR code I got on a conference badge and could not do it. Goes back and forth between the app, the web browser on the phone and the web page in a computer browser. Still screwed up. Garbage.

Crashes when you save contacts

Cannot save contacts to your address book. Crashes each attempt.

Fast but somewhat ineffective

I was excited to try out a QR code I made containing a vCard of my contact info when someone with an iPhone asked for my phone number the other day. I had previously partially tested this functionality and was pleased that after scanning, I-nigma would display my contact info. However, after a full test, we discovered that it did not add that info to my friends address book after clicking import. Shed already had an entry for me. My phone number was not added there, nor was it added as a new contact. Later at home, I tested this with 2 test QR codes - one with my name that added a new phone number and one with a test name. The test name vCard got added to my address book just fine, but the new number with my name was not added to my address book anywhere. So I tried another reader called qrafter and upon scanning the code, it brought up the info in address book and gave me the option to select a new or existing contact - a much better way of doing it in my opinion. Plus, it was just as fast. However I will acknowledge that I-nigma does better than other apps at scanning qr codes that have vcards encoded. 2 other readers Ive tried, such as scanlife, give me a nonsensical error about not being connected to the internet when I scan a qr code with vCard info encoded.

Fastest one there is!

Its also the only one I could get to work with an iPod touch. I guess since they dont have autofocus the other qr apps have a hard time. My only complaint is that the UI doesnt support retina. I also dont like the cartoony icons. Something a little more Apple-esque would be nice. Other than that its great!!

What all does it scan?

I know it scans qr but does it do the colored qr things and does it do barcodes?

iOS 5 support

no support for iOS5 after the patch? its bad.... lots of user still using iOS5

Uncalled for update

The update says added support for iOS 6.0. It didnt however say removes support for all other iOS versions below 6.0. Which is dumb. Im one of the many who still prefers iOS 5.1.1.

Only for iOS 6.0? Not for me!

The latest update requires 6.0, but I wont be going to 6.0 until Google Maps comes back. So, Ill be uninstalling this to get rid of the update notification on the App Store.

Ridiculous

I cant believe you are requiring iOS 6 for latest update, which I have no intention of getting. This is the first app Ive encountered in years of using iPhones that would not work on a slightly older OS. Deleting it now. Bad move, folks.

I LOVE this app ... simple, clean and it WORKS.

After a small "hiccup" with the iOs 6.0 version not supporting iOS 5.x my favorite bar code and QR code reader is BACK and even supports iOS 4.3 again.. After a bit of quick testing I removed RedLaser from my iPod Touch and have one code scanner/reader that does what I want. The UPC/UAN barcode reading seems a tiny bit slower than before but the QR code detection is back to its old self. I am so happy that the folks at 3G Vision respect their users enough to provide backward compatibility as well as support for the latest and greatest Apple products.. BRAVO !

No good. Deleted it. Waste of time.

Tried to scan bar codes. Works sometimes, mostly not. No info returned when UPC was scanned Worthless waste of time.

Wow

Now I can scan QR codes on my phone, SWEET!!

Best QR reader on the market

I tried a lot of QR reader apps on the same code and this is the only app that recognized the code. Amazing and super fast!!! I love it.

Great Job Scanning Data Matrix codes

I love that I can scan a data matrix. The only thing I could see as an improvement would to have the ability to text/email a list of more than one barcode at a time. Love how fast it scans. Great work on this!

Non-functioning crap

Crap. No target reticle and no scanning. Deleted it after 10 mins of wasting my time.

Very good app!!

I love this app! Fast, sweet, and easy! QR codes r a snap decode with this app!!!!
